Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. SOC Security Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement security solutions to enhance incident prevention, detection, and response across cloud environments
• Lead investigations into complex security incidents and proactively hunt for threats using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
• Mentor junior SOC analysts and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, focusing on SOC engineering and incident response
• Expertise in managing and optimizing SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and cloud security
• Hands-on experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, and advanced log analysis
• Understanding of security frameworks and methodologies like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST
