Senior Software Applications Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Applications Engineer will develop core code, conduct testing, and manage the deployment of applications while ensuring timely bug fixes and enhancements.

Key responsibilities:

• Run discovery and development processes, ensuring thorough testing and timely delivery of fixes for coding issues
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to assess application capabilities and project limitations while optimizing resource usage
• Generate resource reports and provide updates to management and stakeholders about project status, delays, and blockers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with seven years of experience, or a Master's degree with five years of experience
• Five years of experience in Java application development, GIT or other code repositories, and technical application debugging
• Four years of experience in front-end development and working in software application development teams
• Three years of experience with OpenShift development and deployment
• Two years of experience in building and managing technical project plans
