Senior Software Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architectural design and development of software solutions, the full-time Senior Software Architect will work remotely to support a mission-critical DoD program, ensuring secure and scalable software capabilities while providing technical leadership across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical implementation of software solutions using open-standard technologies
• Develop and maintain software solutions utilizing modern Java enterprise development practices and frameworks
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in developing Java enterprise applications
• Strong experience with Java enterprise application development, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures
• Experience with software quality and security tools, including SonarQube and GitLab CI/CD
• Active Secret Security Clearance
