Senior Software Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks, the full-time Senior Software Automation Test Engineer will work remotely to enhance software quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Katalon Studio
• Collaborate with development teams to implement TDD and ensure testability in system design
• Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality assurance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 7+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 4+ years focused on automation testing
• Strong experience with Selenium and/or Katalon Studio
• Proficiency in Java and strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and branching strategies
