Senior Software Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and development of next-generation data platforms, the full-time remote Senior Software Data Architect will define enterprise data solutions, drive the creation of scalable data pipelines, and ensure data governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and lead the architecture of enterprise-scale data platforms, including lakehouse and data warehouse solutions
• Design and implement secure, high-performance data pipelines utilizing Databricks and modern cloud architectures
• Establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality across platforms

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and data architecture, with at least 5+ years in a senior or lead role
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise data platforms using Databricks and modern lakehouse architectures
• Strong experience with distributed data processing and technologies such as Spark SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
