Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a project focused on early warning systems for food insecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications for statistical data capture, analysis, mapping, visualization, and decision support using Django
• Participate in project management using Jira and Agile principles while maintaining technical specifications and system documentation
• Conduct independent research to solve new problems and provide mentorship to other programmers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7 plus years of software development experience using Python and Django
• Strong awareness of best practice development, including Agile methodologies and web application security
• Commitment to software quality through processes, standards, and automated testing
• Preferred experience with Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, and AWS
