Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain a product's control and data planes using Python and Rust, while optimizing existing codebases and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the product's control plane in Python and the data plane in both Python and Rust
• Refactor, optimize, and modernize existing codebases to improve performance
• Research and integrate new technologies to enhance product capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong Python skills
• Hands-on experience with C, C++, or Rust and development of distributed applications
• Solid understanding of network protocols and network programming
• Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with OOP, TDD, and DDD design patterns, as well as CI/CD workflows using Git-based repositories
