Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Developer specializing in .NET Core and Azure Cloud Solutions, this remote position will lead the design and modernization of the Department of Veterans Affairs' custom application portfolio while driving cloud-native development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain enterprise Microsoft .NET applications, leading modernization initiatives from WebForms to ASP.NET Core
• Implement secure cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability and performance optimization
• Design and maintain complex Microsoft SQL Server databases, developing advanced T-SQL stored procedures and maintaining data traceability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience with Microsoft .NET / ASP.NET Core and C#
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Functions and Azure API Management
• Proven experience leading enterprise software development projects and understanding cloud architecture
• Strong knowledge of secure software development practices and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards
