Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications and APIs for processing healthcare EDI transactions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and RESTful APIs for healthcare data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and maintain front-end components using Angular
• Write clean, testable code, perform unit and integration testing, and promote best software engineering practices within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
