Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for processing healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integrate with internal platform APIs
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integration of APIs for front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience in DevOps environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
