Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for serving structured healthcare data
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and participate in code reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
