Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications and RESTful APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and transforming healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
