Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
