Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support a Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS services related to cloud application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
