Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and associated tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
