Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for backend and application-layer development, the fully remote Senior Software Developer (.NET Core / Azure Cloud Solution) will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure while managing a portfolio of custom-built VA applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and sustain the DMC custom-built application portfolio
• Lead the migration of SSRS reports to Power BI and the modernization of WebForms applications to ASP.NET Core
• Provide technical direction and conduct code reviews for junior developers while ensuring compliance with VA ATO requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; no equivalencies accepted
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Significant experience with Azure cloud technologies including Databricks, Synapse, and Azure Functions
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, T-SQL, Power BI, and Kendo UI
• Proven experience leading software development projects and providing technical oversight
