Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the optimization of supply chains, the full-time remote Senior Software Developer will investigate novel techniques, translate real-world supply chain use cases into mathematical models, and lead the design and implementation of these models.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and develop algorithms that combine heuristics with optimization techniques
• Translate supply chain management scenarios into mathematical models and oversee their implementation
• Define testing strategies and develop comprehensive test plans, including automated test scripts

Required qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of delivering commercial software
• Proficiency in C++ and experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
• Experience in creating mathematical models for optimization problems and using commercial solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX)
• Ability to design and maintain automated testing scripts for various testing types
