Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in Java or Python, the full-time position offers remote flexibility and focuses on providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on engineering for mission-critical systems and data pipelines within the Intelligence Community.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable backend applications and distributed data processing pipelines using Java or Python
- Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and leading technical design sessions
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise RESTful APIs and secure interfaces across complex multi-system environments
Required qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of software engineering experience (or 10+ years for SME level)
- Deep production expertise in Java (Java 11/17+, Spring Framework) or Python (Python 3.x, FastAPI)
- Proven experience in designing scalable microservices architectures and enterprise APIs
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
