Senior Software Developer - VA Licensed
Job Summary
To support the AWS Professional Services delivery team, the Senior Software Developer - VA Licensed will design and deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native applications for federal customers, with flexible work arrangements available including onsite, hybrid, or remote options, and an active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure software applications on AWS
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and sustainment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS architects, customer leads, and other vendor teams to deliver customer-aligned solutions
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Five (5) or more years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale applications
- Proficiency in at least one modern language: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript / TypeScript
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based or distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
