Senior Software Development Advisor

Job Summary

Leading a team in the design, development, maintenance, testing, and debugging of software, the full-time Senior Software Development Advisor will formulate project scope, ensure adherence to software development lifecycle guidelines, and provide guidance and training to team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the development of system specifications and determines project feasibility through interaction with business users
• Directs the design, development, maintenance, testing, and debugging of software to meet company needs
• Prepares program documentation and status reports while ensuring successful project completion and user satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred
• Nine years of related experience, including five years of program development and three years of specialized programming
• Working knowledge of claims management applications is preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
