Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the creation of best-in-class digital delivery, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Developer Tooling will support automation of delivery processes and mentor engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the delivery automation of CVS Health Enterprise Engineering, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and application coding
• Identify and analyze system design weaknesses, troubleshooting complex technical issues to enhance platform reliability
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers with diverse technical backgrounds, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information technology
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Golang, Python, Node.js, or similar backend programming languages
• 3+ years of experience writing infrastructure as code (IAC) for microservice application deployment
• 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using reusable code
• 2+ years of cloud computing experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
