Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about test automation, the full-time remote Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) will design and maintain scalable test frameworks, ensuring quality control across backend services and mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and suites for microservices integration into CI/CD processes
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify quality risks and communicate issues effectively
• Build tools to validate integrations with third-party services and continuously improve existing test frameworks and quality processes

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in building test tools and frameworks using Groovy/Kotlin/Java/Scala and CI/CD tools
• Experience with BDD testing paradigms and frameworks such as Spock, JBehave, or Cucumber
• Knowledge in microservices and automation, along with Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or GitLab
• Experience with REST APIs and AI-assisted development tools for improving test automation
