Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Owning quality across backend services and customer-facing applications, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will design and implement automated test frameworks, analyze testing pipelines, and mentor other engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and write test plans and automated test scripts across backend services and APIs
• Analyze and improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of the testing pipeline
• Independently identify opportunities for automated testing and provide leadership to the team

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or test automation engineer
• Expert in an object-oriented language such as C# or Java
• Complete understanding of the application development life cycle and QA testing techniques
• Expert experience testing REST web services and backend-heavy services
• Demonstrated ability to design and build custom test tooling for complex systems
