Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Building and owning backend services and APIs for self-service cloud capabilities, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer will design and implement solutions that abstract public cloud complexity while ensuring reliability and observability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own backend services and APIs for account provisioning, networking, IAM, and policy management
• Transform recurring cloud tasks into automated products, ensuring safety and simplicity in design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and drive the roadmap for platform improvements

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend or platform services in production
• Proficiency in system design for distributed systems and API-based platforms
• Production experience in Golang or Python, with strong testing and debugging practices
• Familiarity with public cloud providers, particularly AWS, and their core services
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
