Senior Software Development Engineer
Job Summary
Bringing advanced technical depth and leadership, the full-time remote Senior Software Development Engineer will architect, design, and develop sophisticated software systems while mentoring less experienced team members and collaborating with technology leaders to shape overall technology direction.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive collaboration with vendors to establish estimates, delivery plans, and timelines for projects
- Lead technical guidance across application families, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and optimizing technology
- Conduct root cause analyses and lead incident response for critical production issues to maintain high system reliability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 12-15 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in a senior or principal engineering role
- Extensive coding experience with .NET Unified Platform V8 and .NET Framework 4.8
- Experience implementing workflow orchestration engines into microservice-based architectures, preferably with Camunda Cloud
- In-depth knowledge of advanced technical principles in software engineering and experience with Agile development
