Job Summary
Focusing on mobile test automation, the remote Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will author and maintain automated end-to-end tests for React Native applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a contract role lasting four months.
Key responsibilities
- Author and maintain end-to-end automated tests for React Native mobile applications using Detox and Jest
- Develop maintainable and scalable test suites, ensuring reliable test execution in CI environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate app behavior and document software defects
Required qualifications
- 5 years of experience in test automation design and implementation for web and/or mobile applications
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript with experience in reading React/React Native code
- Hands-on experience with mobile UI automation tools such as Detox or Appium
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- 5 years of manual testing experience, including testing on iOS simulators and Android emulators
