Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

As a technical leader on the AI Model Serving team, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer or Principal Software Development Engineer will design and implement large-scale systems for deploying machine learning models, driving performance and scalability while fostering an inclusive team culture in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design decisions to enhance platform performance, reliability, and scalability
• Design, implement, and maintain systems for moving machine learning models to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve continuous integration software pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on large-scale distributed systems (Principal) or 6+ years (Senior)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Deep proficiency in Python and experience with production-level code in Python-based frameworks
• Familiarity with large language models and traditional machine learning models
• Experience designing and maintaining monitoring strategies for system health and performance
