Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability and performance of the web platform, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will manage quality assurance for web features, design and execute manual and automated test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive quality for web platform features, including UI, APIs, and backend services
• Design and execute manual test cases and exploratory testing for complex web and API workflows
• Build and maintain automated test suites, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for efficient feedback

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven hands-on experience with manual testing of complex, consumer-facing web applications
• Strong experience in building and maintaining API tests using tools like Postman or REST-assured
• Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript or TypeScript
