Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Joining a fast-paced, collaborative team, the contract Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will lead automation efforts, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvements in software quality and testing standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and automated scripts
• Build and enhance automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines while conducting code reviews and mentoring team members
• Analyze test outcomes, identify defects, and communicate test progress and quality metrics across teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years as an SDET supporting major application integrations or product releases
• Hands-on expertise with Java, Groovy, and test automation frameworks like Selenium/Appium
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as SoapUI and Postman
• Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure
• Proven ability to mentor and coach junior team members
