Job Summary

Driving test automation across a real-time futures trading platform, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will build scalable test frameworks, leverage AI-assisted test generation, and collaborate with product engineering teams to enhance quality and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive test automation across API, UI, and end-to-end testing to maximize value against execution time and maintenance cost
• Build and maintain scalable test frameworks and infrastructure that integrate with CI/CD pipelines, focusing on critical paths like order lifecycle and market-data streams
• Mentor engineers and SDETs on automation patterns and quality-first testing practices while ensuring test code quality and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing with a strong focus on test automation and framework development
• Expert programming skills in TypeScript, with hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong understanding of API and real-time testing, including RESTful services and WebSocket systems
• CI/CD experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions
• Proven ability to design test strategies that effectively balance coverage, execution time, and maintenance overhead
