Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Transforming an existing RPA platform, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will lead the migration from .NET Framework to .NET 10, refactor legacy components, and establish automated testing to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the codebase from .NET Framework to modern .NET 10, improving performance and maintainability
• Design and build robust backend services and APIs, simplifying architecture and reducing technical debt
• Establish a strong foundation of unit testing and automated regression testing to ensure code quality and reliability

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on backend development with C# and .NET
• Proven experience in modernizing legacy codebases and managing technical debt
• Solid experience in designing and building APIs and backend services with scalable architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and translating database-driven logic into application services
• Experience implementing unit testing and automated testing strategies in evolving environments
