Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain software systems that power AI products, working independently on impactful projects with a commitment of 20-40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems for AI training and deployment
• Write clean, well-tested code in modern programming languages and optimize APIs and data pipelines
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams asynchronously

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design principles
• Experience building and deploying backend services or data-intensive applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments
