Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the fully remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems, focusing on AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines while working independently on impactful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support AI-related processes
• Write clean and performant code in modern programming languages, including Python and TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles
• Experience building and deploying backend services or data-intensive applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
