Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems, focusing on scalable APIs and backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment
• Write clean and performant code in modern programming languages such as Python or TypeScript
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers while troubleshooting complex technical issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java)
• Experience building and deploying backend services, APIs, or data-intensive applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
