Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services for orchestration and job execution within the cloud platform, focusing on distributed systems and modern cloud-native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver backend services, APIs, and shared libraries for cloud platform capabilities
• Build systems for orchestrating work across services, including job execution tracking and operational visibility
• Develop reliable asynchronous and event-driven systems using messaging and queueing technologies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with backend services and distributed systems
• Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js or core systems languages like Go, Java, or Rust
• Experience designing and operating asynchronous or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, including containers and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to lead design discussions and mentor engineers on production engineering practices
