Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer II for the DSM Methodology Team, who will design, implement, and maintain backend systems for high-volume data processing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, scale, and maintain backend systems that process large volumes of data
• Work on event-driven and API-based integrations, contributing to migration efforts toward a more scalable architecture
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to investigate technical problems and propose solutions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong technical depth
• Proficiency in Java, with familiarity in languages such as Python, Scala, or Go
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with data processing tools like Spark, Kafka, and Delta Lake
• Familiarity with Docker, SQL, NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations
