Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance mobile connectivity for smart lock applications, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop and optimize Android applications, implement communication protocols, and collaborate with firmware engineers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Android applications for unlocking doors, data synchronization, and firmware upgrades using BLE and NFC
• Architect communication protocols and APIs for mobile-to-cloud integration while troubleshooting complex connectivity issues
• Mentor other engineers on best practices for wireless connectivity and stay updated with the latest Android SDK and IoT trends

Required qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
• Two years of professional experience in Software Engineering, focusing on mobile connectivity and IoT products
• Experience in Android SDK development using Kotlin and Java, and designing BLE GATT communications
• Familiarity with Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and asynchronous programming using Coroutines and RxJava
• Experience with dependency injection (Hilt), unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines
