Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will design and deliver complex product and platform systems for a rapidly growing marketplace, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable distributed systems that enhance core marketplace experiences
• Own complex technical projects from inception through production, ensuring a balance of speed, reliability, and maintainability
• Lead engineering execution of initiatives, coordinating with multiple engineers and cross-functional partners to achieve high-impact outcomes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, preferably in high-growth technology companies
• Experience in building and operating scalable backend or full-stack systems in production
• Proven track record of independently managing complex technical projects from design to launch
• Strong system design skills with experience in creating reliable and maintainable distributed systems
• Ability to effectively lead engineering efforts involving multiple engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams
