Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable, high-performance systems while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to create efficient systems that meet client needs
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system performance and scalability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional programming experience, particularly in Python
• Experience building and optimizing distributed, scalable systems and high-performance applications
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their applications
• Proficiency in working with large-scale datasets and implementing efficient data processing solutions
