Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
The remote Senior Software Engineer will design, code, and implement application software and systems while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions focused on cloud cost visibility and governance.
Key responsibilities
- Build applications and develop product design solutions in partnership with engineers and analysts
- Design and develop full-stack applications and RESTful APIs for cloud financial governance across major cloud providers
- Coach and mentor junior engineers while translating business requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in modern software engineering and deploying scalable applications
- Experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost management across AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficiency in full-stack or API development, including RESTful API design
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture, with familiarity in governance and cost optimization
