Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to enhance backend services and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and observable API-based backend services to meet service level objectives
• Own the health and uptime of production systems, participating in on-call rotations and postmortems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design maintainable systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, focusing on large-scale systems and microservices
• Experience with PHP and web frameworks like Symfony or Laravel, as well as Node.js frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DevSecOps practices
