Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Lab Tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide technical efforts of a small development team to develop and support lab orchestration software
- Create solutions that integrate the lab orchestration system with other existing systems and automation platforms
- Ensure best practices in software development and communicate project progress to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Relevant education (BS/MS) in computer science, software engineering, or operations research
- 5+ years of experience in software development with leadership in technical projects
- Experience developing or customizing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Proficient knowledge of Python, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
- Understanding of laboratory procedures, including Next Generation Sequencing
