Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong C programming skills, ideally with experience in hypervisor/virtualization projects
• Understand x86 assembly language and knowledge of Intel and/or AMD processor edge cases
• Utilize git and Linux tooling, with additional experience in Python or Bash being welcome

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in Linux kernel with knowledge of at least one subsystem
• Experience working on system software in a large codebase
• Familiarity with software development processes including source control and testing
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience in virtualization technology and knowledge of Linux kernel internals is a plus
