Key Responsibilities

• Drive projects from concept to production rollout, ensuring performance and reliability goals are met
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and mobile engineers to raise engineering standards and ensure smooth platform scaling
• Mentor others and shape the technical direction of the team through thought leadership and hands-on engineering

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on backend or platform work
• Strong production experience with Ruby on Rails and designing scalable multi-service Rails applications
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including authoring Helm charts and operating clusters
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and knowledgeable in relational databases and caching layers
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and release processes, familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
