Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Distributed Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Walrus core, including storage node, client software, smart contracts, and toolchains
• Collaborate with research, cryptography, production, and security teams to ensure network security, performance, and reliability
• Optimize existing systems for scalability, efficiency, and reliability while integrating new features and technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems and/or network programming, ideally in Rust, C, or C++
• Experience in designing and developing distributed systems, storage/database systems, or networking protocols
• Production experience in operating and managing production systems with a focus on reliability
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion
