Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Payroll and Integrations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build reliable integrations with external payroll systems to enhance the retirement planning experience
• Develop APIs for web applications managing sensitive financial assets and business logic
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems with a focus on security, scalability, and performance

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in designing and maintaining large-scale backend software products
• Expertise in Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework
• Working knowledge of relational databases and API design
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles
• Experience with distributed systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP or similar tools
