Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to building an enterprise-wide payments platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement components of the payments microservices ecosystem using .NET and AWS
• Build integration layers for third-party payment providers and ensure smooth transaction flows
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product managers and UX designers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with advanced proficiency in .NET/C#
• Experience developing cloud-based applications on AWS and managing them with containers and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs, especially payment gateways
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful API design
• Knowledge of software security best practices and experience in a PCI-compliant environment is a plus
