Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React/Next.js
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React/Next.js)
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, test-driven development (TDD), and system-level tooling
• Proven ability to guide and mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with agile methodologies
• Aware of the business value of engineering work and capable of prioritizing tasks accordingly
