Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics) for a contract position that is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain data analytics infrastructures including AWS Athena/S3 and Google Analytics
• Implement and refine data pipelines for ETL of new data streams
• Support data management activities including retention, curation, and schema development with a focus on automation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in an engineering role related to data analytics
• Strong experience with modern architectures for data storage and governance
• Experience developing cloud-hosted applications using cloud-native services
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using Python and/or NodeJS
