Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Video Encoding and Delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance video ingestion, encoding, packaging, and validation systems for scalable and secure video delivery
• Own features and services managing the content lifecycle from ingestion to playback readiness
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance across diverse platforms and automate validation processes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python and Java
• Practical experience with video delivery technologies, including encoding and packaging
• Familiarity with streaming protocols such as DASH, CMAF, and HLS
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
